Natural Nails vs. Tips

Natural Nails vs. Tips

What will you wear on wedding day? I usually wear natural nails but I'm thinking about short natural looking tips- so they will last a little longer. Any other suggestions? Thanks...

Definitly short natural looking tips - I bite my nails!! and when they do grow they are always breaking Tips are alot stronger.
If your natural nails are a nice legnth you can always have them wrapped... thats what I used to do

In my opinion...wraps, tips, fake nails...you can spot them from a mile away. I prefer natural nails even if they are on the shorter side.

Either way you will look great!

They only get like that if you wear them ALL THE TIME for a very long period without giving you real nails a break from them... if you are only wearing them for a week or 2.. it will have NO effect on your real nails.

I got tips for the first time ever for the wedding. I didn't want to worry about my nails chipping or breaking while I made my programs, menus, favors, and RD centerpieces, etc. It was less stress for me to know they'd look perfect in all the close up shots of our hands (with my boquet, with our rings, cutting the cake...)

Thanks! How does this wrap thing work. I like the look of natural nails but I want them to all be even and they always wind up breaking. and when one goes, they all quickly follow...

I have my own nails wrapped w/acrylic. I normally keep them very long, but will cut them prior to the wedding.

My nails were really short (of course up until about a week before the wedding my nails were nice & healthy and long for months!!) but I was still able to get an itty bitty french manicure & I was much happier than getting tips/nails.

Even though my nails tend to break once they get a bit longer than my fingertips, I jave long nail beds, so I'm going to have them natural.

I think natural looks nice. Try nailtiques polish..it'll make anyone's nails grow. If you going to try soemthing else try wraps. They put a linen like cloth over your nail and then harden it. It ends up looking nice.

Definately either tips or wraps.

I like long, french tip manicure, and with the stress of the wedding, I am sure natural nails would all break off

Definately tips/wraps for me

Those who think fake nails are not great itching tools.......... you are absolutely CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they are marvelous

Never had tips and want them for the wedding but a friend of mine said she can't get a good scratch in when she has an itch...the fake nails don't satisfy the itch!

Now that I think of it, I have memories of my perpetually tipped mother asking me to scratch her arm/head/etc. I fell like that would drive me nuts!

What is 'Forever French'??
