hi girls, i was just wondering if anyone has had or know someone that had a ceremony & wedding aboard the nautical empress yacht in freeport, ny on the nautical mile. we're getting married & having our reception there in october and would love to hear anything about it or if anyone has pictures. that would be great. thanks!

hi, i'm so glad to hear someone else is getting married on the empress. how are you decorating the boat? i have a few decorations, but i didn't think about how to decorate the top outdoor deck. are you having your ceremony there too? we haven't met capt. jim yet. he'll be the one marrying us. well keep me posted on your plans. thanks

I am new at the site, I am thinking of having my wedding ceremony and reception on the Nautical Empress, the food looks delicious, I am having an appointment today at 6:00pm any suggestions, tips anything please!!! My Wedding will be on July 31, 2007 either on the Nautical Empress or the Romantica. I met with Francesca a Banquet Manager for the Romantica, the boat its ok not a wow! yacht but good for a reception wedding, the food choices not great at all! The boat had a smell not bad but a little disturbing. The price is way more than the Empress with only 90 people on board with decorations and extras we are looking at $16000 minimum. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
i actually was alomost going to give a deposit to book the nautical empress but then when i looked at the price and what i was getting it didnt add up to as much as i am getting at my RH. FH and i didnt like their cocktail hour, we thought it was enough. every wedding i have ever been usually the cocktail hour is the best part and i didnt feel that with the boat. although we did go to their food tasting and it was very good but for the $ and amount of food i think you get more at a RH. just my opinion
I greatly appreciate your comments, but like I said I am new at all of this and don't know what RH or FH is? Please explain, did you have your wedding on board the Empress? was the cocktail time the only negative thing, were your guest content with the service? I just need to know the date is in 46 days don't have a lot of time to think so any help is appreciated, thank you.
