Ok - I've heard people mention the Nautical mile - but I have no idea exactly where this is or what is there. Can anyone explain? Especially how to get there?

it is a strip of bars and reaturants along the water ..it is fun you can watch the boats, drink, eat and most places have live music..as far as directions..i am terrible. sorry.

Take Meadowbrook Parkway south to Merrick road west make left at first light BJ's on the corner...follow the lights around (you'll also see signs for the waterfront. I was just there for the 4th to watch the fireworks...so much fun!!!!

I don't know where you're coming from, but once you get on atlantic ave - you go down guy lombardo ave.
