I want to get one for DH for Christmas but I am clueless. What is a good brand and where did you get it from and how much did it cost?
Thanks!!!

Re: Navigation System??
I second Tom Tom - I find it the most user friendly.
Stalk radioshack when Xmas gets closer - I got mine for $99 last year during a special.

Re: Navigation System??
DH is on his third TOM TOM- he loves it so much he has upgraded- I have his first one (4 year old 300 series or something)- still works like a dream, my sister has his second one (500 series or something like that)- he now has the 700 and is thinking of buying himself the 900 for christmas
they work great- I would get the model that the 500 or better- the one dh has 730- has a traffic sensor on it which is cool- I think it was around $500- dont remember though

Re: Navigation System??
sorry to crash, but I just got the Mageallan Roadmate 1412 for 199 at Costco (179 now) and we love it. It says the street names and recalculates extremely quickly

We have a Magellan and love it. It was one of the more expensive models when we got it about a year ago. My parents have an older model Magellan.

Re: Navigation System??
I have a Garmin Nuvi that I got a couple of months ago at Best Buy. It was like 200 for the basic model (still talks to you, but does not have any crazy bluetooth and stuff) It works great!
