Navy & Light Pink vs. Champagne & Light Pink

Hey Girls,
Originally, I had planned on using champagne, ivory and light pink as the color scheme for my wedding but I'm having second thoughts.
Its on June 25th at Lombardi's on the Bay- so summer on the water, but no beach theme. Lombardi's on the Bay is a smaller sized venue, with big windows looking out on the bay, white walls, whit marble floor, and HUGE chrystal chandeliers. I'm really going for a timeless, romantic look

While I love the champange and light pink, I think the color combo is too light for a room that is all white. I feel like a need a dark color in there somewhere. I'm also having a hard time finding long bridesmaid dresses that I like in a champagne color that isn't too light that it's almost white, or too dark that it's almost brown (I'm looking for something long, preferably chiffon), AND then match that color to the vests and ties for the ushers.

I love the way the navy looks with the light pink. And it brings in a nautical, cool feeling, without being 'beachy'. I think navy may be an easier color to find in a dress/vest/tie and match other elements with as well.

What do we think?

i think the navy is needed there. the champagne and ivory could be too similar in color.

Inspirations of each will be in an album shortly- having size issues when trying to post

This is a champagne dress I am wearing for my e-party...may work for bridesmaids.

I love the first color scheme is you want that romantiic look and feel...add lots of candles and it may be perfect

and i voted the first with the navy - i think you need that contrasting color as the light pink and champagne might be too close in color

I'm doing blush pink, ivory and black. A little champagne will be thrown in there, too. Soooo that said, that's my color scheme of choice. I do think the navy will look great, too!

My colors are basicially your navy theme. I'm adding in some brighter and darker pinks too

I think the navy and pink would pop against the neutral RH decor. And just because you use navy does not mean you have to go nautical! HTH!

Thanks girls! I think it's really going to come down to what BM dress I like and which color it comes in

Thanks for your input

Obviously the champagne will read softer and romantic and the navy will pop and be bolder. Depends on what kind of look you are going for. I'm sure either will be gorgeous though!!!

i think the champagne and pink will blend in with the lombardi's color theme (btw i love that venue, it just seemed too far for me and FH's family to travel, but it was my second choice - i love their CH room looking out to the water). if you want your BM to stand out then definitely do the navy!

I'm using light pink as my accent color to the navy dresses in the girls boq's. I love love navy with light pink.

I love, love, love Navy and pink. There are so many different shades of pink that you can incorporate in the bouquets and centerpieces. And you can still get champagne (sort of) in there as well with gold strappy sandles for the BMs.

i am doing navy and light pink too! i am getting married on the water- but no beach theme either. navy looks great as bm dresses i think- makes your dress stand out. and i am doing light pink peonies as flowers for me and the girls and light pink hydrangeas on tables.
