I wanted to send everyone off with a tiny box of Krispy Kreme donuts (box of 2 each) with the morning paper, but FH said no way because it's too much $$$... I love the bagel idea!!!

its a cart full of all different kinds of bagels and little packets of butter and cream cheese that they roll out at the end of the night so guests can take home breakfast for the next morning

My mom went to a wedding a million years ago that had this and it left such a big impression on her and it was so thoughtful that shes always wanted me to have it.. I was sooo excited to see my hall offered it as an option.

I think I may have been at the same wedding as your mom. A few years ago, I went to a huge Saturday night wedding in Brooklyn, and it was over very late. They handed out bags of bagels with the Sunday paper as the guests left. I still remember it and I don't think your guests will forget either.

I would do that but the majority of my guests are out of town and staying at the hotel where they get a nice breakfast the next morning.

Same here!! Not doing a cart though because my place doesnt offer it. I will have them pre-wrapped with a cream cheese packet. personalized marmalade, and a pack of coffee in an vellum bag.

I dont even want to give a favor b/c we are already doing the vienesse hour and giving out cookie box's so people can take stuff home, and the bagel cart ( hardly any oot guests and if there are they might stay with relatives not in a hotel), and i am doing the slipper thing. But my FMIL insists.. and shes paying for the favor .. people are gunna need shopping bags to carry all the stuff home

I don't remember because I was the 'guest' of someone in the bridal party. I do remember that the bride and groom had the same last name so she didn't have to change hers, the groom was about ten years older than her and they grew up next door to one another.
