Necessity is the mother of invention!!

Ok, so the pew clips didn't appeal to me to attach my floral sprays to the pews, because I think the ones I've seen are too small, and not strong enough, so here's what I think I'm gonna do, and I wanted to share my idea in case anyone else is wrestling with this issue!! I'm going to use the light metal, door wreath hangers, which are easily bent, and straighten the hook part at the bottom; Then, I'll attach the bouquet stems to the metal strip. Now my idea was to wire them to the strip, then wrap the wired stems/strip with ribbon/bows. My DH suggested using strapping tape to attach the stems of the silk bouquet to the metal strip, then cover with ribbon. I'll let you know what works!! I also want to glue craft felt to the back of the metal, so as not to scratch the pews. Hope this idea is ok with the Church!!!
Pics of the first floral spray minus ribbon/bows; The flowers/grass have some flexibility, so I can arrange them better when I attach to the pews. I haven't made the sprays for the first 4 pews which will have stargazer lilies. Mary MOB
