I went to try on my dress last week with the necklace I bought. I hate it with the dress!! I just wanted to get your opinion. Necklace or no? I think with the tiara and the design in my dress, no necklace would be better. Also do you think the tiara looks too big? Or do you think it just looks like that because my hair is not up and done? Thanks in advance

Beautiful dress and tiara....but I would say no to the necklace...it's too much with the tiara.

How about trying either a simple pearl strand or maybe no necklace, but chandelier earrings?

Honestly I like it better without the necklace. It just seems to compete too much with the tiara. The tiara, on the other hand, I think looks great. The size is fine.

The tiara looks great, but with a tiara that size, a simpler, lighter looking necklace might complement the look better and give you just a little sparkle on your neck. I would stay away from pearls unless the tiara also has pearls....too many different looks competing with each other.

That necklace isn't right but I think you could definately wear a necklace. You need more of something like this (except not two-tone)

I don't think that the tiara is too high. It's just that you don't have your hair up. I think your hair should come a little higher than the top of the tiara.
Are you wearing it all up?

Thank you everyone!! It's hard to find a necklace when you can't carry the dress with you I am wearing my hair up!! I am wearing it like the pic but with a side part or all back in the front. My FI bought me princess cut stud diamonds when we got engaged so, I think I will wear them for sentimental reason

Hey !! I think you can wear a necklace that is a little bit longer than the one you are wearing and also more simple or slimmer. That necklace does not compliment well with the dress. The tiara is nice and with your hair like you showed in the pics, you are going to look great !!! I'm also going to wear studs as my fiancee got them for me as one of my Christmas present. So keep searching for that perfect necklace !! You are going to find it.....

I say no necklace. If you want to wear one, I would get a much thinner one than the one you have on...JMO Love your dress by the way

i think you need a necklace - just not the one in the picture - the tiara competes with that one and makes it look small and unproportioned - try something longer and thinner maybe a silver chain ? something to give sparkle without the weighty look the one you have on has -

The dress and the tiara are so beautiful, you could certainly get away with not wering a necklace. But if you wanted to, I would say maybe something a little more simple.

Being that you have such an open neack line with your dress (very similar to mine), I would def wear a necklace. Maybe not the one in the pic you are showing, but some kind of necklace. Otherwise you neckline looks to bare.

That necklace looks too short on you. It looks almost like a choker, only it's not supposed to be, ya know? I think a simple solitaire diamond drop pendant would look gorgeous or a skinnier necklace that isn't a choker....
The tiara looks pretty! And you look GORGEOUS in that dress!
