Necklace saga

Necklace saga

So I got the call that my dress is in...yeah!! I have been trying to pick as neckalace, but cant seem to decide. Here is the detail of my dress and the neckalce I like. My earing are diamond flowers (sorry the pic is blurry) that match the detail on my dress. Suggestions? Opinions? Maybe a single chain necklace with a small flower hanging from it? Any pics?

IMO, you have this beautiful dress. The necklace looks measley in comparison. I would either do something more substanial or nothing at all. I would wear a bigger earring or just plain diamond studs (but big ones).

The detail on the dress is gorgeous. I don't know if I like that necklace with it though. I personally have always liked the look of chokers with strapless gowns.

I wouldn't wear a necklace. I have a lot of beading on my top (flowery too!) and I decided not to wear a necklace bc I didn't want it to be too busy. Just earrings for me.

if youre going to do a necklace, do something very simple like a drop pendant.

I think the necklace takes away from the dress, which is gorgeous. Maybe something more simple?

It looks like I'm in the minority here, but I don't think the necklace will look bad at all. From the picture it seems as if the necklace doesn't hang too low, it's a little more than a choker. The hanging flower is not overstated and if you keep the earrings simple, it will look beautiful. If you want a more substantially designed set of earrings though, then you should forgo the necklace altogether and keep the neck bare. (Collar bones are very sexy, by the way).

I agree with a drop pendant! You don't want too much bling taking away from the fabulousness (is that a real word?) of the dress.

YOu might want to check out Macy's. I got my necklace and earrings there and got so many compliments on them from guests at my wedding. They are costume jewelry, but they look real. Just go to the jewelry counter at Macy's with the cheaper jewerly and they have a whole section on it. You will find a lot of really nice things at reasonable prices. Good luck.....the necklace saga was part of my wedding planning as well.
