I am not sure if I should wear a necklace with this gown. My FMIL says NO and my mother says YES. I am just not sure what to do. What do you think? My dress is on the link below. Thank you.

You can definitely wear a necklace with this gown. Some people may go for the bare look. A necklace will be quite fine.

i say YES. i think an all around diamond necklace (like a tennis bracelet) would look really nice. tiffany's
now i'm not saying get this particular necklace. but this is the kind of necklace that came to mind.

GORGEOUS! It's beautiful on you! Personally, I think I would with this gown, but you could try it both ways and just see how it looks. I think I would do a simple lariat with rhinestones. I LOVE the stuff at this store:

I went to a wedding where a girl wore a similar dress and she did not wear a necklace but some nice earings instead.

I think you should wear a simple necklace, but something that really grabs the light (I had to do the same because I didn't want to wear too many flashy things since I'm wearing a tiara). Here's the one I bought (I also posted it a few minutes ago on another necklace thread). I highly recommend you go to a Swarovski to try it on... it looks better ON than in a picture or in the case. And the matching earrings are simple, delicate and PERFECT. Not over the top at all, but VERY pretty.
