I have booked pretty much everything for our June 2001 wedding except the videographer. I am looking for just the basics. Coverage of the Church and ceremony, nothing fancy. I was hoping to spend less than $600. Is that realistic? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Our wedding is in October and we are going to be sending our save the date cards end of January, beginning of February. Most of our guests will be coming from out of state, so we want to give them plenty of notice to plan their trip!
Good luck!

need a cheap videographer!
I just have a comment. I too was looking for something simple, and inexpensive. I received about 5 different tapes in the mail (I'm from out of state) and then my friend said, just view a tape that is a bit higher priced. So I did and I changed my mind. I went from wanting to spend $500 - $600, to $1400.00. And it was worth every penny. It's the only thing I keep out and continue to look at. The dress gets put in a box, the flowers die, the cake and food get eaten, the dancing stops and then.. all there is left is a video to watch what just happened on the most important day of your life.
I love my video (we used Ray O'Connor photography). Do view a few cheap videos, then view a few moderate priced ones. When I looked at the cheap ones, there was no emotion, it did nothing for me, then I looked at the higher priced ones, and I cried. And that's what I wanted when we watched our video, to feel connected and there.

Michelle,
If you take Brenda's advice, which I think is right on target, you should also look into Michael O'Neill. They are located very close to Ray O'Connor in East Northport and offer a video for the same general price as what Brenda quoted for her Ray O'Connor video. Both places are photography studios.
