Hi! I ordered a sexy sleath dress for my original sept wedding only a month ago. Now that I'm pregnant and getting married in June, I find myself in need of a different gown. My sexy form fitting Winnie Couture may not do the trick. I tried it on last night and they originally ordered me a size smaller than the sample and my boobs have grown so much that the sample is almost too tight - in just one month! I also don't think it will give me much room for a belly bump!
Any ideas on where I can go on LI?

You need something right off the rack. Check this place out: (many of us got our brand new gowns from there, real cheap and off the rack! They get the gowns from bridal shops after they've been discontinued) Click here

please FM for more info ... its a size 12 but i am no where near that in regualr clothes now even when i ordered it i wasnt ... its a corsett top so should be easily be able to be taken in and out.

definitely go to David's Bridal...you'll have your dress in no time. i think in some cases you can even take it home right away! i've also heard brides say it only took 6 weeks for dresses to come in.
or, you can always order a dress from jcrew online and get it shipped overnight.

In addition to David's bridal (I hear they can get dresses in just a few weeks, even less) or J Crew, Ann Taylor also makes wedding dresses and you can also order them online. I would go to the store (I think one in Manhattan sells the wedding dresses) and try them on to get your size, maybe they would even have it in stock there! I think they list the stores where they sell wedding dresses on their website.

I'd say Davids or RK Bridal in the City. I know lots of girls who were able to buy a sample dress right off the rack from there. Good luck!

Estelle's dressy dresses has bridal gowns you can buy off the rack too.

I might be selling my dress as well, but if you need space for a belly bump it' might not work.
Definitely David's Bridal. They sell dresses off the rack.

David's Bridal is the way to go. You can get something off the rack or even if you order it, it comes in so fast there.

adriennes in islip has a line of dresses that were discontinued..besides being really nice they are discounting them big time..my cousin got a $2000 dress for $800.. i forget the designer but her dress is beautiful..i wish i would have known about it before i bought my dress...good luck and def check it out...it was only like a month ago that she bought it so they should still have some left...
