Need a Favor Donation Idea
If anyone is looking for a place to donate money in lieu of a favor, I volunteer with an oncology camp called Camp Adventure.
It's a week long camp for kids 6-18 with cancer and their brothers and sisters (who may not be sick). It is an American Cancer Society camp and is accredited by the American Camping Association. It's held on shelter island every year and is a place for a kid to just be a kid, not a 'the kid with cancer'.

(the newsday article says that the camp is for 8-18, that is an error, it is for 6 to 18 year olds)
Thanks so much if you decide to. The camp is free for kids and is totally run by volunteers. I have been involved with it for over 5 years and it is truely magical.

ps. If you are interested in donating, you must specify on the donation either in a letter or on the check that it is for 'Camp Adventure'. If not, the money will be ear marked for other ACS needs (research, administrative, etc)
