Need a florist/not sure of what center piece goes for?
Original post by makoman
Looking 4 a creative florist w/ a good rep. I'm not sure about pricing 4 center pieces or alter displays or even bridal party flowers, cause I'm just getting started. If U have any info 2 help me along please advise. Heard Jack & Rose was good?
PS: one thing I don't want 2 deal with is: Several Yrs. back a friend got her bridal party flowers & her bouquet & they were leaking water from the bottom. We all had silk dresses including the Bride(who was pissed 2 say the least) We didn't even make it down the aisle w/out little water spots all over us. Didn't show up in pics but close up it looked like we had all been chowing on Mc-y D's french fries!

JUST TO INFORM YOU ABOUT JACK AND ROSE AND THE BBB . . .
All of the claims on there were problems with their RETAIL business- not with weddings, and that is between THREE different locations . . . Keep that in mind before judging them based on that- if you do a search, many if not all of the brides on here were very happy with Jack's work . . . If you have any questions about ANY vendor, your best bet is to meet with them personally, and not be deterred by 'hear say'

I agree something doesn't sound right. When you go to the BBB and enter Jack and Rose you will see he comes up as a Florist-Retailer. When I checked my vendors out on the BBB, I called the BBB and asked about J&R and they said the complaints were filed on his retail business( the only reason why they gave me the information I have a friend that works there) . It just gets played out about hearing check the BBB when J&R gets mentioned. Its never said to do that about any other vendors. Only when his name comes up. Its getting played out. Just speaking my mind.

What's with the pinocchio faces? I check the BBB for all my vendors and business dealings, it's just the smart way to go about things. If you feel confident with your choice than good for you. I have every right to tell a bride looking to book a florist and who is asking about J& R to check their rep with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB is a great way to check out someone's reputation, it is a valuable source and prospective brides have every right to know that J&R has an unsatisfactory record with the BBB.

Enough w/ the dumb Pinnochio faces. . .
I made a mistake w/my profile. I already posted an apology earlier 2night & corrected the profile. Cut me some slack.
I forget who asked but Both my Brothers R my Best men w/ 4 regular Bride's maids. No Maid of honor didn't want 2 pick between my girls. My FH is having His brother & his nephew as his Best Men plus some groomsmen(undecided #no.) I was told It's called a King's Wedding when It's all men at the alter who stand up 4 U! Ok can everyone relax now?
OH & Thanks 4 everyone's positive & negative feed back on the Florist situation. Appreciate It!
