I need a good book for my Honeymoon, does anyone have any suggestions. I like to read all types of books, I tend to read depressing books (the more it makes me want to cry the the more I like the book But I want something alittle more uplifting for while I am laying on the beach. What's a Good Beach Book? Thanks for your suggestions.

Re: Need a Good Book
The hot book at my library right now is The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLoughlin. Supposedly a real funny story about being a Nanny in NYC and the crazy things rich people put their nannies through.

The Lovely Bones is semi sad- but not a tear jerker- I just finished it and it was good. The Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing is a light read, as well as Four Blondes- by the author of Sex and the City. I love to read and it seems that most of the books I read are depressing too.

Love Marian Keyes books, they're great - along the same Bridget Jones British single girl books is 'Making Minty Malone' by Isabel Wolff A non-fiction book which was hilarious was 'A Girl Named Zippy' can't remember the author's name. Also non-fiction funny books, anything by David Sedaris 'Naked' 'Me Talk Pretty One Day' I've read them over and over and always am crying from laughing so hard.

Re: Need a Good Book
I would recommend Tom Robbins. Anything by Tom Robbins. Easy reading, makes you think, but not boring/too deep. He is kinda a hippy philosopher, but his books are stories, not philosophy books. Excellent stories.
I recommend starting with Jitterbug Perfume.
My favorite book of all time.
