Hi Ladies, My birthday is this weekend and my wonderful FH surprised me with tickets to spend my birthday with my family in Long Island.
We are getting married in Long Island but we live in North Carolina so any opportunity we get to knock out wedding planning is extremely valuable.
I am desperately searching for a recommended bridal shop. I've logged onto dozens of sites to find bridal boutiques but many do not have websites or they don't show a large selection of dresses.
I don't want to spend this rare opportunity running all around Long Island but I need to narrow down a few good places preferably in Nassau County. The furthest East we would go would be Massapequa. I would love to go to an area that has a few bridal shops close by so we're not running from town to town.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.
p.s. Do you ladies know of any bridal shows this weekend?

Thanks. Is Bridal Elegance in Manhasset too? Have you worked with both places?
Thanks for your help.

I love my bridal salon, the wedding salon of manhasset...they're a little pricey, but they're great!

They've gotten mixed revues on this site but I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Bridal Reflections in both Carle Place and Massapequa. You need to make an appointment at both places.
I also had a wonderful experience at Iman Bridal Couture in Old Brookville (I belive) and you would also need to make an appointment there
I've also heard a lot about Linettes in Baldwin though I've never personally been there.
Good luck! Have fun!!!!

Thank you so much ladies. I've been having a tough time and this really helps. It's so hard planning out of state and finding a reputable wedding boutique.
I really appreciate any and all the advice.

hi there! i totally recommend lillette's in baldwin...they don't have a ton of dresses on their website but they have a pretty big selection in the store. i think you need an appointment but maybe if you call them and tell them you are from out of town they will find some time for you to come in. my experience with everybody there so far has been really good and it was tons of fun to try on dresses with them! good luck and safe travels!

Try Elena's Bridal on Merrick Avenue in Merrick it is small but family run and the girls are lovely. Also Bridal Reflections in Massapequa on Broadway is nice too. I think you should call for an appointment though, on the weekend I believe you need one to look at wedding dresses.
\Good luck

Wonderful! You all are life savers. I tried Bridal Relections in Massapequa and they are booked but I got into the one on Carle Place.
I hear the one in Massapeaqua has a nicer selection and the people are much nicer there which is why I was a little disappointed that they were booked. I also got into the Bridal Salon of Manhasset.
It may be too late for the others but I am going to try calling first think in the morning with your other selections.
