I'm getting married at the crest hollow country club. Any ideas for a hotel for the wedding night?

What about the Garden City Hotel? I know the hotel is a little pricey. I don't know if it is worth all of the money but I am sure it will be nice for your first night.

I second the recommendation of the Fox Hollow. That is where my DH and I stayed our wedding night -- its a 5 minute drive from Crest Hollow.

We are staying at the Inn at fox hollow. It's $200 a night and they give you a basket with champagne and chocolates. My MOH stayed there for her wedding night and the refrig came in handy because his parents couldn't take the wedding cake with them that night. I think she paid less though but they had just opened at that time.

Garden City Hotel or the Roslyn Claremont are really my pick, but because of the close proximity I will probably also go with the Inn at Fox Hollow. If you are looking to block off rooms, call and ask to speak with Sophia, she is the social events manager. 516-224-8100.

I am not sure where Crest Hollow is, but if you are considering the GC area, the Wingate is much more reasonably priced than the GC Hotel

We will be staying at the Garden City hotel. You asked where the Wingate Inn is - right on Stewart Ave. near Bennigans and roosevelt field.

Re: need a hotel for the wedding night?
We got married at Crest Hollow- DO NOT stay at the Huntington Hilton- we did and it stunk!
I think the Inn @ Fox hollow is nice, but it is a suite and a little $$$$. If you are having a night wedding, do you really need a room like that? We felt it would have been a waste of money, b/c by the time we got there it was about 1 am, and check out is at 11 am. So just think of that. My friend had a day wedding, so staying at the fox hollow was a good option for her b/c they had a lot of time in the room.
Just some advice (or my opinion)

Re: need a hotel for the wedding night?
I agree with you Kris. We are having a night wedding that ends at 12am. I don't want to go home, but spending $200 to chack out 10 hours later seems like a waste. I'm stumped

Re: need a hotel for the wedding night?
I second the Garden City Hotel. Although FH and I aren't staying there, the place is fantastic.
We are staying at the Essex House on Central Park South courtesy of my FMIL! She's giving us 2 nights so we can actually enjoy it.
Edited to add:
Alot of hotels allow you to do a late check out for wedding nights...definitely ask!
