Need a Hug :( Crazy Week at School

Girls...just venting (or maybe some advice from fellow teachers). We just finished our first week and my class is out of control already. They are endless chatters, I have 3 new kiddos that are constantly out of their seats, distracting others and talking. We tried to do a fun activity and the noise level got so loud I had to stop it. Last year my class was ideal and this year I need to do something b/4 I pull my hair out. I have 24 kids (14 last year) and something as simple as reading a book (going row to row to show pictures got out of hand b/c the other rows got antsy as I walked around). I am SOOOO tired.....Grad school 3 nights a week doesn't help either....BF is working his 2nd job tonight so no one is even around for a hug.

Thanks so much everyone...Just feeling down. I think especially b/c last year was such an amazing year. I really miss that class. I teach 2nd.
