Need a new PC, please help.

O.K. I am finally going to start fixing up an office in my house. I need a GOOD PC and preferrably flat screen. Any recommendations? I now have an HP and I love it but wanted more feedback. I'm getitng the whole kit and kaboodle. PC, Monitor, Scanner, Printer etc...... Thanks!!!!!!!

i have a laptop from them and love it and my regular PC is a flat screen DELL and love it as well

although I am a MAC user, I would third Dell- BUT if $$$ were no object.. I'd get a sony Vaio.

DELL's are supposed to be great. I have a gateway which is 4 years old, and have had nothing but problems the whole time. I will be buying a DELL for myself for Christmas!

My friend has a gateway also and they spent over $3000 on the whole thing. It has been nothing but problems for her.

They offer customized computers which would be impossible to stock in stores. Plus it's less expensive this way.

I think QVC or HSN has a special partnership that could be worth checking on their websites.

I like IBMs, but I have ulterior motives...they were my biggest vendor and I got great support from them.

I compete against Dell daily, and cannot beat their corporate prices. Two of my friends have Dell laptops and are very happy with the product and (very important) the service they get when they call in with a problem.

I like NEC monitors. HP makes very good printers and all-in-ones (print/scan/fax/copy).

Shop around! The PC market is extremely competitive!!
