The first time FH and I were engaged we only went to one venue, Dome room @ Jericho Terrace, and booked on the spot...from start to finish the experience was fantastic especially because of our BM Mike Closs...
This time around we decided to do things on a much smaller scale, and we will not be able to use JT due to the amount of ppl we plan on having (we were at 225 first time around, this time we would like to set it at 125 MAX).
Ive heard alot of amazing things about Lands End in Sayville from great service to even better food...I also like the fact that the venue is MUCH closer to my area. Does anybody wanna share their experiences? Also we are looking into either April/May 2013 or September/October 2013, anyone know prices?
I dont know too many places like LE in Suffolk so any other suggestions would be appreciated!
TIA

for a smaller wedding Old Field Club would be really nice.. i've never been but heard great things about it. it looks gorgeous in pictures.
also check out Lombardis on the Sound in Port Jeff and Lombardis on the Bay in Patchogue. Love Flowerfield in St James too.. but their min may be a lot higher than 125.

We got married in April at the West Sayville Country Club. Staff was amazing, attentive!! We had a great time. Everyone Raved about the food. The flow of the night was smooth and everyone had a great time. I would recommend calling Steve and checking out the place. Steve is very personable and respects all your needs and wants!

Land;s End is beyond amazing. CAn't wait for my big day in just a few days. It's breathe taking and the staff is wonderful. The food is outrageous and yes, its $$, but you get SO MUCH for it. If you are flexible on your date you can make it work. We had no date in mind so we asked which date they could give us the best deal on. June 30th here we are!

Def check out the Lombardis! For Oct/Nov 2013 FH and I were quoted just under $100 p/p. Be careful with OFC. While its a VERY pretty place.. IMO they carge an INSAINE amount of money for what they offer. It was borderline rediculous. You can also check out my venue, Sunset Harbour, its on the dock in Patchogue. Its very pretty and for the money you cant beat their prices. FM if you have any questions!

The Riviera in Massapequa is right on the water, for a smaller crowd and not your typical Long Island banquet hall, which can get old quick. I know I am biased, but I think you should check it out
