NEED A PHOTO LOCATION, ASAP!!!

I need a location to have some photos taken.. I would like to go to the beach, but I live in Queens..and I would rather not travel all the way out to Jones Beach because I don't know what the crowd will be like or the weather or the sunny-ness () OR the traffic...I would settle for an interesting park with tall grass or big trees. I don't want a typical boring park with a cheesy gazebo or anything like that..Are there any closer beaches in the Whitestone, Qns area?? Help help help!!

Does anyone know about Westbury Gardens?? What if I went there as a visitor and had a friend come with me with his camera..would they make me pay a fee like they do for weddings??

What about the gardens at Caffe on the Green in Bayside??? It's not a beach, but there is a lovely pond and beautiful willow trees as well as perfectly manicured flower beds. The grounds actually belong to NYC (Clearview Golf Course) although Caffe maintains them. They are FREE and convenient to the parkways!! I'm surprised more people don't use them. Good luck!!
