i wanted to take pictures with the great south bay in the background but dont want to cross the robert moses bridge because the wedding is on a saturday in june and i don't want to get stuck in traffic... my church is in babylon and the reception is in bayshore.... anyone have any suggestions????

Sorry I'm not responding with a location. . . BUT I wanted to let you know that Captain Bills was AMAZINGGG!! My wedding was there a month ago!! They were so wonderful to us, and everyone is still raving about the food!! (Since it's a restaurant too, the food was just great).
Can't wait to see pics!!
BTW. . we didn't take pics there, but there is a beach just beyond captain bills, and you could drive down there to take pics. We scoped it out for a possible spot, but we didn't have time.

original plan was downtown NPT, but it was raining at the end of the ceremony, we took some pics inside, and then it stopped raining so we took pics outside the church (a little bit of a bummer, but it really didn't phase me because it was a crazy morning/day!).
Luckily, we also took some great pictures outside of the bayview house and down at the dock. (this photo session was actually a lot of fun, because it was just us and we got to take a lot of different shots). I got use to 'modeling' and posing really fast, it was FUN! I wish we had had more time for photos.
taking pics at the dock was nice! But I'm still waiting to see them. (fingers crossed).

Why don't you try Argyle Park in Babylon Village.

I was going to suggest Argle, and Venetian Shores, google them on here see if anyone used them in the past & put the details in their review, HTH.
