Ok, so I am having a hard time with finding somewhere to take pics in between my ceremony which is in Deer Park and my reception which is at the Jerricho Terrace in Mineola. I have about 2 hours in between to take pics, so I'd like to find someplace, outdoors, that is on the way from point A to point B. The only place I can find that stil has an opening for me is Old Westbury Gardens. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks ladies!

How about the gazebo in Garden City...you don't need a permit or appointment since it's first come first serve
How about Argyle park in Babylon? Not sure if you need any permits or anything but it's really pretty there and you have plenty of time.

Thank you for your recommendations ladies. I thought of Argyle because when I was younger I always saw brides getting pictures taken there and always said I would take mine there. But I am concerned about the duck poo situation, lol.
I've never heard of CLark Gardens but I will definetly check it out. Do you know if they have any indoor spot on premise in case of rain?

I actually dont think so ......... I havnt gone there to speak to them yet. Thats where i want my pics because i remember being little and seeing brides take pics there too. Its right next to the Albertson train Station!

The planting fields/arboretum that's either in Syosset or Oyster Bay. I'm not sure if that's on your way or out of the way (not too familiar with the towns farther out on the island).

i booked at old westbury gardens b/c i've seen some pics of friends there and it's just gorgeous!!! we're going to go visit there one weekend to check it out again~ can post pics!
