Hey Ladies! My goddaughter is almost potty trained! Woo Hoo! My cousin is a whiz at training her kids...both trained around 22 months old. Well, my goddaughter is just about there and I wanted to send her a small gift to congratulate her, especially because they live in Hawaii and I almost never get to see her!
Can anyone suggest anything unique? I know there are a lot of books out there on the market but I want something different. THANKS!

What about a potty stool, to help her climb up to the toilet and the sink to wash her hands? You can have it personalized with her name...Paul has something like this, with his name and a sports theme on it...
And, as payback for my gift suggestion...I would like some TIPS from your SIL on how to begin potty training my son!

What about some really cute Barbie/Dora/Whatever she loves 'big girl underwear' as a little add-on to her gift?

maybe you can get her a 'big girl' gift. like a little bracelet, or a little purse. Something big girls use.

My daughter is in the process of potty training right now (I need PATIENCE!!) and what she really wants is a watch just like her big brother so we've promised her one.

Thank you ladies! I love the suggestions! Any idea where I could order a stool? I'd like to order from a place and just have them ship to Hawaii (though not every place does and some charge an arm and a leg for this!). Underwear is so cute too...she loves Nemo!
I wish I had some suggestions from her on potty training. One day I will be turning to her for advice. I know in my family the kids seem to potty train quickly. I was potty trained at 18 months.

BTW, email from my cousin. My goddaughter has been going on the potty since Monday and today made poo poo on the potty! I think I should get her something soon b/c this looks like it's for real, not just maybe! If I am this proud of my goddaughter, how proud will I one day be of my own children!?!

Sasha, maybe you can find a local place in her area, that wont charge as much for shipping?

PERSONAL CREATIONS has a flip stool that can be personalized....I'm not sure exactly what the shipping charge would be for Hawaii, but I'm sure they would help you if you phoned their customer service number!

Thanks so much for your suggestions and link! I'd like to try in Hawaii, but my cousin says that the selection isn't so great and the prices are high (probably b/c they have to have everything shipped there too!). She misses the mainland and always likes it when we send her things. I'm going to check out that link now!
