Well, if you're really looking for extravagant, there is an AMAZING place for brunch in either the Plaza or the Waldorf (I can't remember at the moment). Its like $75 a head with mimosas, a harpist in the background and literally every kind of food you could imagine set up in a HUGE buffet. but not like a free-for-all buffet, very classy. We went a few years ago for a ladies-day-out with my mom, SIL, aunt and two cousins and it was the best - we spent like four hours at brunch just reminsicing and making enough room for the next course!!!

BEST brunch I've ever been to is at Cafeteria.. don't be fooled by the name.. it's a fabulous place on 7 avenue and I think 18th street? I can be wrong... it's by Loemann's and you need a reservation.. they have shot episodes of S&TC there//
