Need a Salon in Riverhead Area - HELP

My FMIL just decided she wants to get her hair done, but not come to my house and get it done where the hairdresser is coming too.

Can anyone recommend a salon open on Sunday out near the Holiday Inn Express in Riverhead? She can drive, so it doesn't have to be right there.

I am also getting married at Giorgio's and am using Guys and Dolls (right in the shopping center next to the circle by the hospital.) I don't know if they would open for just 1 person, but you can give them a call.

When I got married I got my nails done at Styles Salon in Mattituck. I don't know how they are with hair, but I thought I would give you another place. It's about 30 minutes from Riverhead on Route 25.

There is a salon about 15 mins west on RTE 58 called Shear Perfection. There is a woman named Bonnie that works there. I will not let anyone besides her touch my hair for updos. I was in a wedding once where 6 of the girls had 6 different types and lengths of hair and they all came out exactly the same! She's amazing and also reasonably priced. The # is 631-727-0481. HTH

I don't know if your FMIL is interested in going to HB but that is where my salon is, which I had my hair done for my wedding day...

Thanks for everyone's suggestions...most were closed on Sunday!

They were so nice, reasonably priced and accomodating. They are open on Sunday too!

PS - I had a REALLY NEGATIVE experience with Giovanni's in Manorville. I called several times and got nothing but rude answers. I was told to call back twice and ask for a specific person and was hung up on when I called back on the date and time I was told to.

If you want more details FM me, but I am shocked by their rudeness!
