I don't know anything about the place, but I would think it's very pricey since it's owned by Carltun. Bayville is in eastern nassau county all the way up north. It's very out of the way.
I'm not usually a place-basher, but I had an awful experience visiting this place. It is on the edge of nowhere, and the minute we walked in we were hit by a powerful, dank mold smell. My mom walked right out (she preferred to wait in the car!), but my fiance and I kept our meeting with the (very uninterested looking) banquet manager. The photos of the food looked lovely, but overall the menu was pretty boring. The room had a nice view, and the cocktail room looked nice, but the smell and price were SUCH a turn-off!
