Need a vacation idea

Need a vacation idea

We were going to go to Disney in July to use our timeshare, but Steve is hesitant to go since we are actively TTC. Any ideas of another destination that Brandon would still enjoy?

I think it is more of the fact that IF I get PG he doesn't want a vacation that is very active, for me but yet has things that Brandon can do so he won't be bored

Flying isn't really an isuue

Hmmm ok then, I see you sitting in a comfy beach chair with a cool drink.

Maybe some coastal area with a great beach and/or great hotel pool with activities for kids?

Myrtle Beach baby!!

Stay at the Crown Reef!! Right on the beach, 30+ pools with mad activities on site, the biggest lazy river you could ever imagine. And the strip has all sorts of stuff to do.

Michelle, I wentto Disney at about 20 weeks PG, and I had a ball. I spent some time in the shade eating ice cream and people watching while Patrick and my dad went on rides, but I didn't mind.

You should think about going... hang by the pool during the day and hit the parks at night when it's cooler out.

I have an idea, Michelle: take me with you!!! Of course, Sean would have to come, too.

Anyhooo, I've heard lots of great things about Woodloch Pines, too. I hate to fly, so that's the place I'd go!!

You could take a cruise. Brandon can go to all of the kids club activities without a parent. You can do as much/little as you want based on your status.

I second the vote for the cruise. They're inexpensive and the children's programs are great. Your son could spend time there while you and Steve do what you want-explore the ports, get a massage, go to the comedy show, etc.

My in laws go to Woodloch every year and DH used to go when he was younger. Supposedly the place is wonderful but very, very expensive.

Have a great time whatever you decide. I still think Disney would be okay. I just came back from the Bahamas too, and there's tons of activities fro kids too!

I second Myrtle Beach - lots of fun things to do, a zillion minature golf courses (and regular ones, if DH likes golf). Ripley's (of Beleive it or not fame) has a GREAT aquarium there - you can go through a tunnel under the tank and sharks are swimming all around and over you. It's also about a 90 minute drive down to Charleston.

there's a lot at Cape Cod for a little one. We spent our Summer's there, and always had a great time. Lots of ice cream shops, miniature golf, pirate museums, ....the beach of course, and for you guys Provincetown and Chatham are great 'spend the day' places for lunch and shopping and walking around.

I love Cape Cod. I think its a great 'family time' place. Not TOO much to do, which forces some nice nighttime walks, board games, puzzles...that kind of stuff!
