I was thinking of having a surprise party this summer for my dad.. Any venue suggestions?
I would love to have it at home but thats too much work ( cleaning, food prep etc etc)
Open to Nassau, Queens and BK
If we could rent out the space and bring our food .. that would be great as well
I guess didnt want to spend too much since we have another RH payment coming up

My mom hosted my bridal shower at 'Irish Center of NY' in Long Island City. It was a really nice place, just perfect for the shower! They have a kitchen in the back with an oven and microwave and you can bring your own food and liquor. Just let me know if you want me to find out the info for you!

Try City Cafe in Garden City. My cousin is having her daughter's communion party there in two weeks and i think she's paying like $35pp. You could probably fit about 75 people.
McQuades's in Lynbrook has a room that would definitely fit that amount - food is great!!! Located right on Merrick Road near the little village in Lynbrook.

Very nice!! calling them tonight.. can we rent out the space? im lending toward renting out space and bringin our own food. but i will inquire for catering.. their food looks delish
