need addressing help re:doctors

I have always heard proper name as

Dr. & Mrs. David Smith.

HOWEVER, in my situation the doctor is the wife.

So is it Dr. & Mr.

or Mr. & Dr.??

That's what I did too.

ETA Actually I did this. I don't know if it's right.

Dr. Jane Smith
Mr. John Smith

But I work for Dr. 'Smith' so I didn't have any qualms about listing her first either ... I'm not sure.

I thought and I could be wrong that it would be...

Dr. and Mr. Smith (if they have the same last name)

or

Dr. Jane Doe and Mr. John Smith (if she kept her own last name)
