I lost both my parents in the last year and a half... and my grandparents (mom's parents) are still alive but in their mid-late 80's.... my problem is that I just got engaged... and I'm thinking of a May 2005 wedding.... do you think that I'm taking a chance waiting a year and 4 months or would you guys do it sooner?

This is just my personal opinion-I would do it sooner rather than later.

I think you are the only one who can make that decision. But you can't go wrong by holding the wedding as soon as possible.
I am really sorry for everything you must have been through.

If you are ready enough for marriage that you are engaged then I think the sooner the better. You want no regrets.
