Need Advice..

Need Advice..

I wanted to get FH a cake for part of his 'gift' for our RD or Reception (picture inserted). But..seeing as how this cake can cost up to $300...I'm wondering if I should get him the portable DVD player he wants instead?? I LOVED the idea of the cake for him..but honestly I think I'd rather do that for his B-day (December)..and I'm sure he'd appreciate it just as much. Just seems more sensible to get something he can use..as opposed to something edible that will be gone..and will be for show.

What do you think?

I agree with your thinking...go with the dvd player and do the cake for his b-day or something. JMHO

DVD player!! The cake is nice and I'm sure he'll appreciate the thought but then it's eaten and over with. With the DVD player he can say 'This was a gift from my wife!'
