Need Advice

Im not sure what to do. So I went to see this one florist that I really liked. Without mentioning names, the contact person has been really really irresponsible. She was supposed to first get back to me with a price quote and I had to call her twice. Then she was supposed to make up a sample centerpiece for me and email it. But she never did that. So I emailed her on Saturday about the photo of the centerpiece which was supposed to be to me on Tuesday- and she neve responded. Just sent her another really nice email and still no response. What should I do-- I really liked them and their work and their price was really great. What should I do??

you know, that would probably leave a bad taste in my mouth. that would make me question what the vendor's performance would be like on the wedding day. have you done a search for the vendor in the brides' review section to see what kind of experiences other brides have had?

I agree with the other ladies....if she is this flaky before booking imagine when she has your money? I'm sure you can find someone else! Good Luck !

I'd look for someone else also. I agree with the other girls. If she can't be responsible when she is trying to get your business, I would hate to see how she is when she already has your money. JMO

I would look for someone else-if its enough to make you nervous then I wouldnt trust it. Instinct is fabulous

i'd be afraid to go with them, if they're this flaky or forgetful now, how are you suppose to trust them to be there on your wedding day?

I would be so nervous to work with them because if she isn't responding to you quickly or even at a decent time right now - who knows what would happen on your wedding day. I would probably look for another place and just tell her thanks, but no thanks.

drop em. if they're this unresponsive before the wedding, you dont want to be worrying if they're going to come through on the big day.

I agree with everyone on here...there are so any wonderful florists that would never dream of being that flaky and irresponsible. Even if you have to pay a little more (and you might not have to) isn't it worth it to ensure that you have beautiful flowers on your wedding day?
I called a well-known florist a few weeks ago and they were really flaky. I had to speak to 3 people to finally speak to the florist in charge of event flowers, and the people I spoke to weren't very nice. I thought, if they're not nice now and seem so unorganized, do I trust them for my wedding day? I ended up not going to the appt at all. If you get a bad feeling from the start, it usually doesn't get better, and I wasn't taking any chances.

Definately look for a new florist, you can't trust them to come through on the big day.

Well she finally sent me the photos of the sample centerpiece and it was pretty good. And she left a message on my phone on Wednesday saying that she thought that she said this Tuesday not last Tuesday which would still make the photos a day late anyway!!! I dont know the price is really really great and the pics she sent looked nice. Should I call her and explain my conerns or just drop them and move on? Thanks guys!!
