Need advice...

Ok SO here is the deal, for our wedding everyone LOVED our DJ. Bottom line- the dance floor was packed the entire night. However, there were so many things that were wrong that only I and DH noticed (for the most part).

There were a few bigger things that were noticed, i.e. they got MY NAME WRONG at some point in the night (which the MC apologized for and actually showed me the paperwork from his office which showed the wrong name) and they majorly screwed up the bridal party introductions to the point where a whole couple was left out. (my amazing bridal attendant ran out to the MC to let him know and he ended up introducing them as a 'surprise couple' or something like that)

What do I do??? I want to write a letter but I don't care to ask for $ back so I guess it would just be writing a letter to let them know what went wrong?! Does that make sense if I'm not asking them for anything? Also, I keep coming back to the fact that the dance floor was packed.

TIA!

If you do write a letter, and since overall, your guests had a great time, I would include a part that says that ('the music was great. . . everyone was dancing all night. . . etc.') but also stating that you were a little disappointed with the things that went wrong. I don't think there's anything wrong with expressing your disappointment, but since the guests all had a great time, I would focus on that.

I totally agree....state the positives and negatives. Companies can't grow unlese they know where they need improvements.

i would also make sure that people are made aware of this mistake as well. you might want to post on yelp or wedding wire, etc.

def write a letter
although as you said you arent asking for anything, you will hopefully make them be more organized and review details closer. this will hopefully save another bride & groom the same trouble you had...
