So we were about to book our RH and FH hurt himself and so he is not working now. We were going to book for next Jan 25 but now that is in less then a year, so we were going to push it out a few months, but then the prices shoot up too much for April through the summer. So then I thought we can do November, but FH brother is getting married Oct 19, so everyone says its too close to their wedding and you have to have at least 3 months between the two. So now were thinking January 19, 2014, the sunday before MLK day...I'm not happy about this at all. Its an entire year after I thought we'd be married. If I change the hall I want we can pull off 2013, but I don't want to regret not having it at the place that I fell in love with. I'm not sure what to do.
Do I wait the year and have my dream wedding or pick a less expensive place and get married 8 months earlier in April of 2013?

I'm so sorry that this is happening to you.
This is a real toughie....
PERSONALLY, I'd wait the year and make sure that we were all healthy & comfortable (money-wise) to have the wedding and to start a marriage.

If you love that RH that much then Id wait. I know its tough to consider pushing your wedding back a whole year but trust me it will fly by. You will have plenty of time to save and plan and pay things off and you FH will have the time he needs to get better and not stress.

Thats a hard one ... but if you really want your dream wedding i would wait ..i know its hard but if you think about it time will fly and u will have everything payed off and have a great honeymoon!!!

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I agree with the other ladies. You only do this once so you don't want to regret anything. If you want to get married before then you can go to city hall then a year later have your dream wedding at your RH.

Thank you everyone for all of your help!! We are going to talk about it tomorrow night and make our final decision, but I know it is going to be to wait. You're all right, I only want to do it once and if I'm going to do it I want to do it right and love everything about our wedding. It stinks we have to wait an entire year, maybe we will take a trip to city hall! FH is trying to make me feel better and tell me since we'll have all this extra time to save that he is going to get me the tacori engagement ring that I wanted, right now I have is grandmothers ring which I love but I'm not going to turn down that offer lol, I'm not going to be a 2013 bride anymore though
