Need advice about a flower contract

Need advice about a flower contract

Hi ladies. I was just looking over my budget and all the contracts I have so far.

I've realized that I am not happy with what I'm getting from my florist.

I paid a $50 deposit via credit card and the florist sent a copy of the contract to me with the credit card receipt. As far as I can remember, I have not signed a copy of this contract.

-I was told on the phone that she would throw in extra rose petals. There is no mention of rose petals on the contract.
-I was only quoted for 12 tables, where I know I told her I guaranteed 150 guests. If I need more centerpieces, it would cost $75 per table. I want to have 13 maybe 14 tables in the contract.
-A throw away bouquet was also not in the contract.

What chance do I have of calling the florist and getting those things thrown in, after a contract was formed?

I am really unhappy about it all of a sudden. I'm wondering if I mention that I'm an LIWedding girl, if that'll help.....

I don't see why you can't add details to the contract since it's not officially signed. Isn't the point of sending you the contract so that you can review it, sign it, and send it back? There's no harm in calling - or in telling them you're an LIW girl! Good luck!

Yes I cant see why you cant call and ask her to add those things that you would like to have them in writing.

Secondly, with my florist I dont finalize the # of tables until about 2 weeks before the wedding and I dont have to pay him until the day of. I left a deposit and thats it. I signed my contract but I went over EVERYTHING with him before HE would even LET me sign anything OR leave a deposit.

Did you see a sample centerpiece? Sample bok's?
