Need advice about Limos-long

I am getting ready at my parents house and my fh is getting ready at out apartment. we are taking pictures at the old westbury gardens BEFORE the ceremony. We are having a hard time figuring out limos. He are some scenarios:

1. Groomsmen and FH drive themselves to the OWGs. Bridesmaids and myself get a limo. Parents drive themselves. Groomsmen drive to reception.

2. Groomsmen get a limo, Bridesmaids get a limo and I get a RR limo to share with my parents. His 2 sets of parents drive themselves.

3. We get one BIG limo to pick up groomsmen and FH, then the limo goes to my house to pick up Bridesmaids and I still get my own limo with my parents.

If anyone else has suggestions, please let me know. Which scenario would be the best and which one would be the cheapest?

How far do you live from OWG? How far is it from your parents to OWG?

My parents are about 20mins from OWG, my fh will be about 35-40 min away. After the pics we have to go to the North Ritz club.

Then option 3 isn't good cause they will be waiting too long for the girls to show up at OWG

Do you really want your FH driving himself to the reception?

Why not get 2 limos? One to pick up the girls, one to pick up the guys, RR for you & parents, then at OWG, you can let whatever cars you want go? Keep the rolls for you & Hubby (and even parents) and limo for BP depending on how big BP is

I dont want my fh is drive himself, but he is arguing that it will be too expensive for 3 limos. i like you idea of condensing everyone once we get to the OWGs.

I think you need 2 limos also... This way your FH, groomsmen and your BMs can arrive to your ceremony earlier and you can make your grand entrance a few minutes later separately!

I am planning on taking pics at OWG before the ceremony also (about how far in advance did you book them if you don't mind me asking). I am glad to see another person taking pics BEFORE the ceremony too. My family is giving me such a hard time about that! Good luck with the rest of your planning!

We had a similar scenario - I was in Bayside with MOH, DH was in Uniondale with 2 BM, pics at OWG, ceremony & Reception at stewart manor.

A limo picked up me & my sister.

A town car picked up DH & the 2 guys.

We all met at westbury gardens.

The limo waited, town car left for the day.

We used the limo to stop at the Marriott and then on to SMCC.

We had another town car scheduled to pick up my mother (and her return).

So we had one limo for about 3-4 hours and 3 town car pick-ups. Well 4, the limo company sent a pick up for us after the reception.

It was less expensive then having limos all day. This also worked for us b/c we had a small bridal party.

JennBaby's idea is great. I think you should go with that. I don't think it will be that expensive for a small limo to do short 20 min ride.
Just let the guys ride in the bigger limo to get there, and dismiss the smaller limo.

Have you seen the inside of a party bus. At first I was a bit skeptical, but when I got in one, I had no doubt that I was getting the party bus. It fits around 30-35 people and it runs about $750 for three hours or I know a company that will give it to your for a day (10 hours, think).FM me if you want their info. That way they can pick the guys, girls and family all together.
