Need advice for a Paris Hotel....

Well, Mom and I decided on Paris and we're going for the first week of April.

Any advice on hotels? I have a few in mind, but would love to hear what any of you girls might have experienced??

Yabbobay, that is actually one I have heard about before....It looks really nice from the site. Have you stayed there?
If so, how is the location?

When we went in Feburary we stayed at a really nice one off the Champ Elyese, if I remember it later, I will post. Great place.

I haven't...but I have heard great things about it...and I personally love the Latin Quarter...

I stayed on that street...but cannot remember for that life of me what the name is...

I also stayed by the Bastille...but I found it to be a little out of the way...

My friend stayed at the Hotel Rochester - I think it was off the Champs Elysee. She loved it and had a great location. I stayed by the Eiffel Tower in a Hilton - it was nice but not a great location. Although the hotel itself was pretty nice.

Sage, are you looking for Paris, or the South of France? My mom and I are going to South of France in late May/Early June and we're clueless about hotels. Have you heard of any good ones in your research, or does anyone else know of any?
