need advice!! HELP!!
Anyway so me and my mom went to PATKEN yesterday & picked up all our portraits (we were in there FOREVER)....basically, its soooo messed up. 1 of my 20x20's, the b&w of me and DH sitting down at night by Villa / well, because a 20x20 size is SO SQUARE, it cut off ALL OF VILLA'S screnery....[which i loooveeeeeeee] and only one letter of Lombardi's, like the I'S is showing! Uh, so I complained and I really didnt like it....so they lady said, well the size u can do that will be wider will be a 16x20, and Im like no, i dont want anything smaller than this. So she said a 20x24 would be good. the upgrade is like, $120 ish more, maybe even more than that, but she said they'll re-do it and not charge us, since no one told us that thi pic for a 20x20 would be more fit for like a verticle picture reather than mine that was horizontal. She said they will really try and shoot 4 be4 xmas, but they dont know, it could be the week after. And then i looked at their frames, and the one I somewhat liked w/ matting and everything it would be $405. but the lady (and my mom) is suggesting to get a black frame, and possibly a black matt only because the picture itself is b&w. . . but i really dont like black frames, so i dont know what to do. so what color do u girls suggest i get? i think it wont look good b/c i have paneling on my walls, but i know we wont be living here forever...2-3 years tops, maybe? is there any other plce besides michaels that i can check out frames alittle big bigger than this size, and what color frame?
NOW, my other 20x20, its our close up pic, (OUR EXTREME CLOSEUP!) sooooo close up...WAY TOOOOOOOOOOOOO CLOSE UP! uh . . .its WAY TOO MUCH, but no seriously, no i wish i would have gotten a diff one of a 20x20 for the bedroom! oh well! so what should i do? even my mom and my dh don't like it ... i hate makig a stink out of it, but i did pay extra for that!
