My FH has two sisters - they are 29 and soon to be 16. They are both wonderful and we get along great and they are BM.
I had two showers (one in NY with my family and friends thrown by my Mom and BM and one in PA thrown by my two FSILs). And, they both made it to both showers.
Well, the 16 yr old wants to come to my bach. party. She lives in Southern NJ and my bp is in the Hamptons at my parent's summer house. We're not planning anything crazy - beach during day, dinner on the water at night, then maybe a bar or dance club and we'll probably make drinks at the house.
So, we'd cancel the bar/club portion, but I'm wondering if it would be weird to have her there when we're all drinking and she obviously can't. What do you think?
Thanks!

Maybe you should tell her what the plan for the day is and see if she thinks she would be comfortable. Let her know ahead of time you will all be drinking and she can't.

Have her come to the Hamptons, but let her know you were planning on going to a bar at night. If she feels comfortable with the idea of staying in your parents house by herself, then say fine.
It is your BP and you should be able to go out for one last hurray!

Thanks for the advice! We'll definitely give her 'virgin' drinks but I still wasn't sure about it. It turns out she would come on Saturday with my other FSIL. So, I told my MOH that if they want to go to a bar - we can do it Friday night. Then Sat we'll do dinner on the water and take it easy. I just don't want to hurt her feelings. Is that a good idea?
