Need advice on bridesmaids dress

Not getting married until May of 2006 however I fell in love with this bm dress. What do you think? How do I find out if they will still be able to order them late next year.

did all of your girls try it on. if they did and you love it on them then go for it. it is a pretty new dress but just get it over with you never know. dresses get discontinued all the time and with out much notice. it is such a nice dress and color.

Well two of the BM are my daughters who are teenagers and would rather have flashy prom dresses so they really don't get a say and the other two love it. My sister is one and she lives in Fla. The other is my bestfriend and MOH who I haven't heard from in over 2months

From what I have been told, these dresses become discontinued quickly without much notice...I already ordered my BM dresses jsut so avoid this!

That is a great looking dress! What do your BM's think? We just went to look at dresses yesterday and all the dresses we looked at were hideous. None of us would wear any of the dresses again. I think I'm going to start giving her suggestions on what we like and would wear again. Can I steal your pic?

Sure you can. I didn't see anything I liked either until this one that's why I worried I wont be able to get it. Also just to pass on some info. My daughter is in my brothers wedding in May 2005 and I took her to Davids Bridal in Carle Place two days ago to order her dress(FSIL was kind enough to pick them out without consulting her BM or even telling my daughter she was a BM)anyway that's for another story not that I would recommend Davids Bridals in Carle Place because I thought the store was horrible, again another story but FSIL got a dress for $54 because it was being discontinued. So maybe if you go into these stores with your whole BP you can ask if they have any that are going to be and get a break like she did!
Forgot this part of you question:
They loved it but 2 of them are teenagers who want a different color and would rather wear flashy prom dresses(Kids, right!)

Thanks the train even detaches if they want to take it off at the reception. Do you think the color is okay for May? My MOH actually wants a platnum colored dress but I kinda think why mess with it.

Just be careful because with so much time ahead of you it might end up that you find something you like better.

It is a beautiful dress though.

i really like that dress. i just saw it yesterday while roaming around looking for dresses online. the color is fine its all up to you. i'm getting married in may also and i wanted to do a color similar to that.. or just a light blue. i can never make up my mind though and its always about two totally opposite things.

wedding gowns were so much more fun to shop for then BM dresses, so i give up easily

go to netbride.com and get a free price quote. dresses that i had found were like 180-200 and they quoted me for 110-130. granted the dresses i was looking at were cheaper to begin with, but ya never know.

I used gownsales.com for my Jim Hjlems dress quotes and then ordered them from RK Bridal who will match any written quote I got. The dresses came down from the mid 200's to the mid 100's!! FM me if you want more specific or additional info.
