Me and my fiance have just begun our search for wedding vendors and the next step is photos. Well after doing some research for the past month or so i've found places that either only do photos or only do videos, yet all of these places cost $3,000-$4,000 for either or. Are there any suggestions on where to go to get a decent package plan including both priced around 3-4 thousand together. I'm very confused and although we do have the time I want to make sure I get the best deal but also the best place to go that we will feel comfortable.

I think Duet is in that price range and they do BEAUTIFUL work. If you ever see them at a bridal show, they always have LIW brides displayed. Outr very own beautiful FeliciaDA and Julie!

I agree and I went with Leli their work is amazing. I got both video and photo for about $5000 which includes everything! I was concerned with language barrier with Duet although their work was terrific!!

Re: need advice on photography
I went to Glenmar, and I have to say the pkgs were very reasonable and their albums were stunning! They still use film with digital and the final prints look great.
My advice to you is to determine what you like first digital or film. I loved many of the photographers mentioned on this site but realized after looking that I personally liked the way film looked better and was interested in a more traditional final product.
I started a thread about Glenmar and got some bad feedback about one of the salespeople there who was too pushy. I went in there knowing that and made it work to my advantage. I wasn't planning on going because there are only a few people who are on here that used them. However a friend of mine did and encouraged me to go. They offered me a great deal that was too hard to refuse. So I booked them and am thrilled! Good luck! www.glenmarstudios.com

Re: need advice on photography
Quick question, does Duet use film, digital or both? I have an appt with 12th night this week and they said they're switching to all digital now.
Any word on preferences? I know digital is a lot less cheaper than film, but we might be openb to both!

I think you can get that price for both probably at Patken.
