Need advice re: E-pics

FH and I are doing our e-pics with Duet (Nick) on August 4th and I have a couple of things I need advice on.

1. For those of you who have done e-pics w/ Duet before, do you have the opportunity to change? We're doing them at South Street Seaport so I don't see why I can't go into a store and change my outfit.

2. Is it necessary to do hair and makeup trials that day? I know a lot of girls do it but I'm just not sure I'll have time the day of. I already have a mani/pedi at a ritzy spa (I won it) that I plan on using that day at 2pm and our pics are at 6pm.

3. If I should do hair/makeup trials, any suggestions for somewhere in the city? Downtown or midtown preferred b/c I'll be in both places at some point during the day.

4. When you did do a hair trial, do you do it as though that was the wedding hairstyle you wanted? I know I want to wear a headband, but don't have it yet and definitely don't want to wear it in my e-pics.

So confused! TIA ladies!

I'm studying and the Bar is less than two weeks away and THIS is what I'm worrying about?! There must be something wrong with me lol.

i didnt do any trials that day, and i didnt change. they give you about an hour and a half, so i guess it depends on how you want to spend your alloted time. i did my own hair, and i had my make up done by an artist.

i had my hair and makeup lady, who will also be doing my wedding hair and makeup, come to my house and had her do both m y hair and makeup. it was my trial and i loved it. it gave me an idea of what i would look like and i think, lol, that i look fabulous in those pics
you shouldn't have a problem changing outfits if your able.

I did my trials the day of just to kill two birds with one stone. If you can do your own hair and makeup well, go for it ! dont bother with the trial..

I had her put in my headpiece and a veil for pics, then she took it our and did it diff for the epics

when i called duet, they said you're allowed to do an outfit change, but u only get an hour/hour & a half for pix, so it depends on you. If you want to change, they will let you.
I dont think I'm going to do hair/make-up trials for my e-pix...I kinda want the pix to represent us and how we look in everyday life so I was thinking of doing my hair & make-up myself

Thanks ladies! I decided to do my own makeup but I'm going to just go and get a blowout that day so my hair is extra pretty
