It seems that with 3 months to the big day, I can't do anything but stress myself out and create more work for myself..
So I really don't care about my invitations, went to the store, bought a box of them and printed them out. They came out great and I thought i was ahead of the game... HOWEVER... these invites in a box come with 1. Invitation 2. Response card 3. Outer envelope and 4. Response card envelope.
My problem is that for those guests who we are having bring a plus one, how do I tell them that they can bring a plus one on the invite? I already printed out the response cards and really dont want to have to print them again. they just say 'favor of a reply.. blah blah blah m___________________
will attend will not attend
There is no inner envelope to write 'John Smith and guest'. Can I put on the mailing label 'John Smith and guest'? Can I write on the response card ( plus 1) after the will attend? Or Do I just call them up and say listen.. you can bring a guest...? This is so confusing i'm getting stressed out just writing this!! Any advice is helpful. sorry for the ramble.

I think the best thing for you to do is just put 'John Smith and Guest' on the outer envelope... that's what I did and it got the message across.

My invites were the same way, no inner rnvelope. Even when I addressed it to the person and the person ONLY, they still felt they were entitled to bring guest (s). I don't think it makes one bit of a difference.
