need advice *really long, sorry*

i'm sure it's clear to most of you by now that i can't stand FH's family when it comes to certain things, i.e. how they treat him. he ALWAYS goes out of his way for them and they never do anything for him. so here's my problem. his sister is a major....well i can't exactly find the right word for her. anyways, he's always doing really nice things for her. nice gifts, going to NC to see her for her b-day meanwhile she hasn't been here for his b-day in god knows how many years and sends him not as nice gifts even though she's saving on air fare. i'm so sick of him bending over backwards for her and not getting anything in return. instead of being with him for his 30th b-day she went on vaca and complained bout why i can't move his b-day dinner to accomodate her. b*tch please!

anyways, she had a kid a few weeks ago and we're going to NC this weekend to see them and his mother who moved there about a month ago. great, yay! his sister tells him she needs a video camera, this is where it gets interesting. last year FH brought a $1,000 digital video camera, now he wants to give it to her on top of the money gift he's giving her. as if we haven't done enough, and believe me we have through her pregnancy. i'm not getting involved with the money thing but she can afford her own f**king camera. that camera he brought for us, for our use not to give to her. he asked my opinion and i told him with the $ they're receiving and have she can buy one herself. of course my opinion meant nothing and she's still getting our camera. if it's our camera then how come i get no say? cause he paid for it?? then dont call it OURS!!! his excuse is he wants to buy a better camer for us with HD. right, cause we have nothing better to do then buy a $1,500 camera right now. excuses, excuses. to top it off he sugar coats it for me and says she's only gonna have it for a little while and tells his mom on the phone that he's giving it to her, as if i cant hear the convo when i'm sitting right there.

i refuse to go the rest of my life giving in to his sister. at this point i never want to have joint bank accounts cause he's just going to support her and her family & i refuse to do that. i'm really tired of his family walking all over him but i have no control over it. he doesn't see it and i don't feel i have any right to say anything since they're blood.

wow, Im really sorry. I know what its like to be with someone who puts their family before me and obviously we arent together anymore. But you really should talk about this with him and explain to him that this is your future togehter and when you get married all decision will need to be made together because you are one unit. You should def talk about this before the wedding. Im sure he will come aorund.

we have talked about it, over and over and over again. he just doesn't realize it. he always says that he does put me first and it is about our future but i don't feel like it is. i know it could be a lot worse but it's dirivng me nuts.

don't give her your nice camera, buy her a flip video camera at best buy for $150, they're good quality. did she specifically ask for your fh's camera?

i don't exactly know how the convo went but i don't believe she asked for it. but i know the minute she mentioned it he said he'll bring our camera and i know that's the last time we'll see it. he's just too soft hearted.
