Need advice-tips

Hi girlies,

I desperately need your advice on this : how much tips should I give to 1) Maitre'D 2) Banquet Manager 3) Bridal Attendant 4) Waiters We are having 100ppl

My reception hall is completely disgusting in terms of wanting tips BEFORE the wedding This is a separate topic which I will get into in my review

TIA

Re: Need advice-tips

You tip the Matre'D $3-$5 a guest and the Bridal Asst $75-$100 depending on how they do. I had a DOC so I only gave her $50

You DO NOT need to tip anyone else at the hall

Wait!!!! I just read, they want the tips before the Wedding???? I would never agree to that. A tip is an extra appreciation for hard work, so that mean's they can do whatever and still make the same?

Tips before the wedding. Are they kidding me. I don't really care for that at all.

Our catering hall gave us envelopes and they had a sticker on it for each one.

It said $50-100 for Bridal Attendants

and the Matri D I think said 250-400

I gave $50 to each Bridal Attendant
and $300 I think to the Matri D

We did not tip the wait staff separately. Gratuity was suppose to be included.

We also had about 100 people

In less than 2 weeks before my wedding can somebody please teach me how NOT TO AGREE when our BM manager is saying that tips ARE TO BE PAID WHEN WE PAY FINAL BALANCE ( which is tomorrow)

Oh man that's horrible. Have you spoken to other brides here that have gotten married at that hall? I would be curious to know if they agreed to that.

Re: Need advice-tips

I actually did. One girl told me she had the same problem and refused to pay him in advance while he ended up pulling her husband off the dance floor at 10pm right in the middle of the party and demanding tips right there
