I have only been TTC since November. I am waiting for AF (I took a test this am and 1 on Saturday and it was a BFN) so I am just assuming I am not pregnant. I am irregular (approximately 35-37 days) and I have been using Ovulation kits and it shows I am ovulating.
I am not exactly old but not young (32) either. Should I talk to my Dr so see about getting tests done? My DH has been on some medicine that could have affected him (baby making).
Am I jumping the gun?

I would go to the doctor and lie. YES LIE! Tell him you have been trying for a year! If you think there is a reason to be worried then you need to put your mind at ease!

I was going to say the same thing... they will not do tests on you or your DH if you have not been trying for 1+...

Thats what we did and I am glad! Imagine waiting a year to maybe find out later you have a problem? Go now! Ease your mind!

I hope he doesn't remember that I was talking to him about this just this past November. He probably won't but he would notice that I was on the pill all last year.

In Duane Reade they are now selling at home sperm count kids... don't know if they work.. but they are there.

Totally go to the doctor! My dr. saw me after 6 months so fib a little. The tests take a while and they are numerous! So get the process started ASAP! Good Luck and tons of baby dust to you!

If I look for a new Dr, should I look for a fertility specialist or just a regular OBGYN?

I would look specifically for a ferility specialist, just so you are sure not to waste any time. Otherwise you might end up being send from one doctor to the next, to the next etc. However, I m not siure how it really works, meaning, are you supposed to be REFFERED to a specialist or can you just make an appointment...
