Need bachelorette party ideas

I am a bm in my friends wedding in August. She lives in FL but is getting married up here, therefore half her friends are in FL and half in NY, so we have to plan a bachelorette party for her here in NY. We are only like 8 girls and she does NOT want any strippers....seriously I was even going to hire one as a secret and she really doesnt want them

The only thing I can think of is awesome 80's prom...NO SPA DAY

Any other suggestions??

What about just renting out a sick hotel suite in nyc and partying up there?? you could make a shopping day of it, lunch, dinner, bar hopping etc

I did awesome 80's prom with my friends about a year ago and it was really fun...although i got really drunk because we got the open bar tickets. For my friends bachelorette party we did lunch in the city and then a beer pong pub crawl bc she loves beer pong. We got a limo for the night that just took us from bar to bar. Everyone had fun.

How about going out east to the winery's and then out to dinner and bars....

I didn this with one of my BM's for hers...it was really fun!!

Totally digging the 80's Prom idea. I also liked the Godfather-Mashuganers' Wedding interactive dinner thingy. How about that DJ Chef?

Be careful with the vineyards. Some will take parties, some will not. There are also a few companies that have buses/limos and will make the stops for you. I'd rent a room out there and stay over night since it is just a few of you. That was the plan for my sister until I got the blood clot and had to take it easy.

I was just going to suggest DJ Chef, some bride on here wrote a good review of him yesterday and FM'd me the details, let me know if you want me to send you the info.

I was thinking about the Sex and City tour, seems like fun.

No vineyards, we did this last summer, plus FH's parents live out east and I am so tired of the vineyard

Although I am leaning more towards hiring John

Hey I was at a Bachelorette party with DJ Chef. We had a good time, though when I found out what they paid for him, I was in shock.

Would you consider doing like a swanky type party where you guys go to the Top of the Rock for dinner and then maybe a great club afterwards?

I second Lips. I've been there and to the 80s prom. I'm not big on the 80s prom truthfully. But, Lips is SO much fun.
