Need Baker recommendations...(with pic of cake)

near Sayville or Bluepoint area for a shower cake for my sister. I already tried Audreys and they are too $$$ for what I want! See pic below! It feeds 30 people...is it cute or what?!?!

If you're driving from NJ maybe you can stop by a bakery on the way? I know a great place called My Little Cupcake in Farmingdale

MY dad owns an italian store in bayport (right near where you are looking) and there is a backery right across the street called mondellos I dont know if its very good but ive had a few things from there and they were pretty good

Oh that place looks sooo cute! But unfortunately I will be out east at my moms so I cant use that place :(

Jenna, I'm going to this bakery tomorrow. That's the place that makes wedding cakes for Vineyard Caterers. I can check around for you and price it out.

I've had cakes from Benkert's (Centerreach)...personally I am not in love with their cakes. Sometimes when we've bought cakes there they've been a little dry or old. But then again we were just picking up something to take if we're invited to someones home so it's whatever they have. I have had their sheet cakes for baby showers and baptism's and it was just OK...nothing to write home about. JMO
