What kind of bustle would you use on my dress? The back of the dress has beads up until around my tailbone and then it is very plain until the bottom where there are all beads again. What kind of bustle would I use? Anyone have pics that I can bring to the alterations?

Carriage Bustle. I had the same kind of design....by my tailbone then again on the bottom...here is my bustle

I would have your seamstress recommend a bustle or two, and then show it to you...
The most IMPORTANT thing is will is stay up? My dress was bustled using these ugly buttons that you could see when the train was down. I hated the buttons so much, but I loved the way the bustled looked....needless to say, it didn';t matter b/c it was so heavy that the darn thing ripped, and the dress was basically held together by safety pins!

Mine wound up ripping only b/c people stepped on it when i was on the dance floor. Plus DH stepped all over it!
by the end of the night i had safety pins holding it
depends on how heavy your dress is. Mine was light. I removed extra material underneath so my train was just organza. but either way whether it is heavy or not there is a shot of it coming down but you bridal att. will help ya....I was ok
